Consistent Finishes Across Every Bathroom
We repeated three things in every room: large-format porcelain in natural stone tones on floors and walls, floating vanities, and the same tapware family. Each bathroom stands on its own, and all three clearly belong to one house.
Large-format tiles mean fewer grout lines to clean. Building Code clause E3 says surfaces in wet areas must be impervious and easily cleaned, and porcelain on floors and walls meets that with the least upkeep.
Doing three rooms at once meant one strip-out, one set of trades and one programme. The owners told us which bathroom they needed most, and we ordered the work around it. The same planning goes into an ensuite rebuilt alongside the main bathroom on any Auckland job.
